Rough Days, Y'all!

Ooh, I am tellin' you...the last couple of days have been BRUTAL!

rarely ever talk about work on this blog, but I have had some rough days at work lately.  Without going into too much boring detail, I have been worked to the bone!  My spirit has been rather low, but hopefully things will improve soon.

You know how it is in this economy:  Less people are required to do much more work, and it is exhausting!

Yes, I am very grateful to have a job, so I don't want this to seem like I am complaining, but I sure hope that the economy improves enough soon that we can all stop killing ourselves in the workplace!

So what can I do for a little more calmness in my life?

Well...

By following simple advice heard on the Oprah show, you too can find inner peace.

Dr. Oz proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.'

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house today, I finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Tequila, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my Boniva prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now!

:)

I have to give thanks to my amazing Co-worker Anna, for letting me vent and never telling me to shut-up!  And for sending me this super funny joke yesterday when I needed it the most!

Here's to a better rest of the week...

Weekend, hurry the F up!

  16. Goodness, with all that wine and chocolate, you must be stoned by now. Sounds like a great way to start the day - with a BUZZ! I may have to try that tomorrow.
